The Stone of Madness Special Edition for PS5 is a real-time tactical stealth game set in an 18th-century Spanish monastery in the Pyrenees. Five prisoners work together to face their fears, uncover the monastery’s secrets, and plan their escape. The isometric perspective brings the setting and its details to life.

Players switch between the five characters and make use of their unique, upgradeable abilities, such as casting spells, neutralizing targets, creating distractions, and immobilizing spirits. Each character’s mental state is affected by their traumas and fears, with potential consequences including paranoia, dementia, or violent outbursts. The game features two escape plans, each with its own story and objectives, while day and night affect activities and challenges.
