The Techstar OBD2 adapter is ideal for quickly connecting OBD-II diagnostic tools to ATVs/UTVs with an 8-pin diagnostic port.

Product features:

  • OBD2 16-pin adapter (female) → 8-pin Polaris connector, with 1:1 pin mapping for reading/clearing fault codes and viewing live data (where supported).
  • Compatibility: Compatible with many Polaris vehicles featuring an 8-pin diagnostic port, including the RZR, Ranger, Sportsman, General, ACE and Slingshot series.
  • Connectors and signal: Input: OBD-II 16-pin (female, J1962); output: ATV 8-pin connector (standard Polaris pinout).
  • Construction material: Flexible PVC, quality contacts, kink protection.
  • Length: Approximately 30 cm (optimized for easy access).

Use: Diagnose ATVs/UTVs with OBD-II diagnostic tools (ELM327, code readers, professional diagnostic testers). Read/clear DTCs, view real-time parameters and perform actuator tests (when available in the ECU).

Instructions for use:

  • Turn off the vehicle ignition.
  • Connect the OBD-II diagnostic reader to the adapter’s OBD2 (female) port.
  • Connect the 8-pin plug to the vehicle’s port.
  • Turn on the ignition and run the app/diagnostic tool.
  • Make sure the cable does not interfere with the vehicle controls.

Warnings: This product is intended for diagnostic purposes only. Avoid applying excessive force to the connectors and make sure the cable routing does not obstruct the vehicle controls.
