Visual perception is a baby's first big window onto the world. The First Discovery Cards set is an advanced developmental tool designed to support this process from day one. It includes 40 carefully selected images, divided into three stages that follow the natural pace of a child's development.
The innovation behind this set is a special holographic card. As the viewing angle changes, the images create the illusion of depth and movement, capturing your baby's attention. This visual stimulus helps train their eyes to focus and track accurately.
In addition, the unique upright stands with built-in mirrors make tummy time easier. Your baby stays entertained by looking at their reflection, spending longer periods on their tummy and strengthening their neck and shoulder muscles.
The set grows with your baby. It starts with high-contrast black-and-white images that help newborns focus. From three months, it introduces vivid colours that develop spatial awareness, while the mirror encourages early self-awareness. After the first year, the cards become an educational game featuring animals, numbers and quantity concepts, enriching your child's vocabulary and cognitive skills.
The set fosters your child's emotional intelligence through shared play. Taf Toys products offer age-appropriate developmental toys that support babies' emotional, cognitive and physical development during their first two years of life.
