Description

Home Cinema projector NeoPix 156 by the company Philips, with resolution 1280 x 720 pixels. The throw ratio, or projection distance ratio, indicates the width of the image produced by the projector when placed at a specific distance from the screen. For example, a throw ratio of 1.3:1 means that the image will be 1 meter wide when the projector is placed 1.3 meters away from the screen. This is a short throw projector as it has a Throw Ratio of 0.88:1, meaning it is within the range of 0.40:1 to 1.10:1 that characterizes this category. Practically, this means you can place it at a distance from half to one meter from the projection surface, essentially without obstacles, making it useful in small spaces or presentations.

The projection technology is the way the projector's lamp light is converted into an image to be projected through the lens onto a surface. This one is LCD technology and its lamp is LED type, which has a longer lifespan but lower brightness than regular lamps, with good color performance.
This technology is named after the initials of the words Liquid Crystal Display. The image is created by a liquid crystal panel that produces combinations of the three primary RGB colors: red, green, blue. This results in very good color performance, even in black.

Brightness and contrast, or contrast ratio, are two very important features that are taken into account, in combination with the projection distance and the maximum diagonal you want to achieve, for the selection of a projector. This one has a brightness of 150 Lumens and a contrast of 1000:1.
Contrast indicates the difference between the darkest and the brightest part of an image and is an indicator of image quality. The image projected by a projector with a low contrast ratio looks faded and flat. In contrast, with a high contrast ratio, it looks more realistic and with greater "depth".
Brightness indicates how much light the projector can deliver on a specific surface size. The general rule suggests that "brighter" projectors are preferred in rooms with plenty of light or several light sources, while "darker" ones are preferred in dark rooms.

It is equipped with Wi-Fi, so you can connect wirelessly to your local network and watch a program online or download software updates. You can watch a video from your mobile or the movie you saved on your laptop with your friends, using the Miracast/Screen Mirroring function. This function allows you to wirelessly "mirror" your mobile or laptop screen to a larger screen.
