The 1:10 R/C VW Golf II GTi 16V Rally model is built on the rugged MF-01X chassis, designed for both paved roads and light off-road terrain (dirt, gravel, grass):

  • Drivetrain: Permanent four-wheel drive (4WD) via a central propeller shaft that transfers power from the rear-mounted motor to the front wheels.
  • Motor: Comes with the upgraded 540 Torque-Tuned motor, which delivers more torque and better acceleration on dirt roads than Tamiya’s standard motors.
  • Suspension: Independent suspension on all four wheels, with double wishbones and simple friction shock absorbers (springs).
  • Tires: Features authentic Rally Block tires, ensuring excellent grip on slippery or uneven surfaces.
  • Body: Made from durable, transparent polycarbonate (Lexan) and requires painting on the inside (Tamiya PS-1 White spray paint is recommended).
  • Realistic Details: Includes separate plastic (ABS) side mirror parts for a more authentic finished model.
