M5 x 0.8mm die - 47020, made from alloyed tool steel NC6 (W-1.2063), with hardness 60°HRc (+/-1°). The die is oil hardened, offering high wear resistance up to +200°C. It features a ground 60° thread profile, three chip holes, and clamping holes for holders with slots ø20x5mm.
The round die is suitable for standard right-hand metric threading according to ISO DIN-13 and external thread tolerance ISO (6g). The pitch is 1.75P. Ideal for general applications on shafts made of carbon and low-alloy construction steel, as well as cast steel with strength Rm according to DIN-EN 22 568 (formerly DIN-223).
