Malexim acrylic anti-rust primer is intended for steel and cast-iron surfaces, even when they have not been completely cleaned of rust. The porous structure of the rust allows the primer to penetrate the substrate, while its physical and chemical bond with the rust and the surface creates a base for topcoats once dry.
It can be used as a temporary protective coating or as an anti-rust primer. Apply it to clean Sa 2 1/2 surfaces or to surfaces with inadequate rust removal, classified as St 3 or Sa 1, in accordance with PN ISO 8501-12001. It is suitable for rusty mesh, railings, fences, pipes, radiators, sheet metal and perforated load-bearing structures.
