Dual Gearboxes and Stepper Motors

The filament feeding system uses dual hardened steel gearboxes and four separate type 42 stepper motors — one for each channel — supporting popular filaments and more demanding composite materials.

Drying and Humidity Control

Filament drying is achieved with an airtight storage chamber and the option to use desiccant to reduce moisture, which is important for hygroscopic materials.

Automatic Spool Change and Problem Detection

The automatic filament refill function reduces the risk of interruptions in long-duration prints, while the system monitors filament runout, tangles, and jams.

Material Compatibility

NFC support enables automatic recognition of compatible QIDI filaments. However, not all 1.75 mm diameter filaments are supported.
