The ALTAX wood impregnation varnish in mahogany shade highlights the wood grain and provides a satin gloss. It offers active wood protection for 5 years against water, moisture, snow, and UV radiation. It is scratch-resistant and allows the wood to breathe.

Its thixotropic composition does not drip or splatter during application.

It is applied on planed or sanded, dry, and clean wood. Shake or stir the product well and repeat stirring every few minutes. Apply as thin layers as possible, along the grain. After 15–20 minutes, you can brush the surface with a dry brush. Allow to dry for about 12 hours. Before the second coat, gently remove wood fibers with fine sandpaper 180–240 or fine wire fabric and clean the dust. Apply a thin layer and let dry completely for 12–15 hours at 20°C. For the third coat, follow the same procedure without prior sanding.

Interior or exterior wood exposed to biological deterioration should be previously protected with Gruntującym Impregnatem Penetrin or Boramon C30 in colorless version.
