Very sweet and aromatic for my taste. It has a wonderful nose with strong vanilla and caramel aromas. Its taste is pleasant and slightly smoky, but its aftertaste is practically nonexistent as it disappears very quickly. I believe it is expensive for what it offers in general. In my opinion, I consider the 12-year-old Doublewood to be more value for money in Balvenie's mainstream range. For those who are not fans of this particular company, there are definitely better options for this price range (such as Lagavulin 16, Redbreast 12, Glendronach 12, Dalmore 12, Benromach 15, Greenspot 12, Bowmore 15, etc.).
