The GIRO SOURCE INTEGRATED MIPS Bicycle Helmet is an advanced helmet that offers high levels of safety and comfort while riding. The model is made from polycarbonate material and further reinforced with EPS foam, making it lightweight and very durable.
The rider's safety in case of a fall is ensured by two technologies recognized by experts worldwide:
- In-mold – which involves injecting EPS foam into the polycarbonate shell. This significantly increases the protective area inside the helmet, providing effective protection to sensitive areas of the head.
- MiPS – developed by Swedish scientists, it is a multi-directional impact protection system. It prevents the displacement of the helmet's individual layers, which could expose the head to impact.
Combined with a precise adjustment system, it also offers a better fit for the user. A good helmet is characterized not only by safety but also by the user’s comfort. The GIRO SOURCE includes a new ROC LOC 5 adjustment system, which allows positioning of the helmet in relation to the head and reduces the pressure that occurs during body tilting while riding.
The helmet can be comfortably adjusted with one hand, and the new system is lighter than most patents offered in competing models. The helmet's design also includes space for the antibacterial CoolFIT liner, which, in combination with a 16-vent system, helps reduce head sweating.
