Mechanical spiral plug DIN-376C R40 6H HSSE HL INOX M12. A right-handed mechanical spiral plug with metric standard thread, manufactured according to the DIN-376C standard. The INOX HL is intended for blind holes.

The material of the spiral plug, cobalt high-speed steel, is characterized by:

  • Increased thermal resistance
  • Wear resistance

The processing in a vacuum furnace ensures high hardness of the tool while maintaining good toughness. The HL coating (TIALN + WC/C) increases the surface hardness to approximately 3000 HV.

The spiral plug is designed for use in stainless steels (ferritic, martensitic, austenitic) and acid-resistant steels with tensile strength Rm.
