It features an impressive 6.9" AMOLED at 185Hz, a 200MP camera and an advanced 50MP periscope telephoto with OIS.

With a massive 8,050mAh battery, 100W/50W charging and Sound by Bose audio, it is designed without compromises.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

At the heart of the POCO F9 Ultra is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform, built using TSMC's advanced 3nm N3P process. The new Qualcomm Oryon architecture uses a 2 Prime + 6 Performance cores design, with the maximum frequency reaching up to 4.6GHz. Combined with the Adreno GPU and the Qualcomm AI Engine, it delivers exceptionally high computing power for demanding applications, multitasking, and gaming. POCO reports an internal score of 4,165,108 points on AnTuTu V11, while the platform is designed to combine high performance with more efficient power management. The F9 Ultra is therefore aimed at users who want truly flagship-level performance.

VisionBoost D8 and gaming

For gaming, the POCO F9 Ultra features the dedicated VisionBoost D8 chipset, which works in conjunction with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The chipset leverages AI models and technologies such as Super Resolution, Smart Frame Rate, and Game HDR, aiming for sharper graphics and smoother motion. Motion interpolation technology can deliver up to 185FPS in supported games, while the WildBoost Engine dynamically adjusts performance, temperature, and power consumption depending on the game. POCO reports an 185FPS ecosystem with more than 20 games, while actual performance depends on the title and settings.

AMOLED 6.9" at 185Hz

The display of the POCO F9 Ultra is 6.9" AMOLED with a resolution of 2608 × 1200 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 185Hz. The POCO HyperRGB technology uses a full RGB subpixel structure, offering high clarity while also reducing power consumption compared to conventional OLED implementations. The display supports 12-bit color and up to 68 billion shades, DCI-P3, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. Brightness reaches up to 4,500 nits under specific conditions and up to 10,000 nits peak brightness in a small area of the screen. With 480Hz touch sampling and up to 4,800Hz instant touch sampling in Game Turbo, it offers exceptionally immediate response.

200MP Camera System

The camera system of the POCO F9 Ultra features a 200MP main camera with a large f/1.68 aperture and OIS optical stabilization. The sensor uses 16-in-1 Super Pixel technology and a 6P lens, allowing it to collect more data for clearer and more detailed shots. The 200MP mode can take advantage of the sensor’s full resolution, offering greater flexibility for cropping and image editing. The system also supports features such as Portrait, Pro, HDR, Panorama, Long Exposure, and Motion Capture. For video, the main camera can record up to 8K at 30fps, while 4K at 60fps is also supported.

50MP Periscope Telephoto with 5x zoom

One of the most important features of the F9 Ultra is the 50MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS and an equivalent focal length of 120mm, meaning approximately 5x optical zoom. The f/3.0 aperture and optical stabilization help keep shots sharp when photographing distant subjects or using higher magnification. The camera supports 5x, 10x lossless zoom and AI Ultra Zoom up to higher magnifications, while it can also be used for Telemacro from a distance of about 30cm. Thus, the F9 Ultra is not limited to the main camera but offers truly greater photographic versatility for portraits, landscapes, distant subjects, and close-up shots.

50MP Ultra-Wide and 32MP Selfie

The camera system is completed by a 50MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.4 aperture and an equivalent focal length of 17mm. The wide field of view is ideal for landscapes, architecture, group photos, and generally scenes where you want to fit more elements into the frame. On the front side there is a 32MP camera, designed for detailed selfies and group photos. It supports Portrait, HDR, and Smart Aperture for group selfies, while it can record video up to 4K at 30fps. Thus, the F9 Ultra offers a complete system of three different focal approaches on the rear and a high-resolution camera on the front.

8,050mAh battery and 100W charging

The POCO F9 Ultra features the largest battery in the history of the F series, with a capacity of 8,050mAh. POCO states that it can deliver up to two days of use in a specific laboratory scenario, while the new high energy density battery is designed for long-term durability. The wired 100W HyperCharge can, according to POCO's internal tests, charge the battery from 1% to 100% in about 50 minutes under the specified conditions. At the same time, 50W Wireless HyperCharge is supported, providing up to 50% charge in about 37 minutes with a compatible charger. There is also reverse charging of up to 27W wired and 22.5W wireless.

Advanced cooling for stable performance

To maintain high performance even under demanding conditions, the POCO F9 Ultra uses POCO 3D IceLoop cooling system. The system features an extra-large LHP surface area of 6,300mm², while its design separates the vapor and liquid flow so that heat is efficiently removed from the chipset. The special 3D structure above the SoC can, according to POCO's internal measurements, reduce its temperature by up to 3°C. At the same time, the smartphone uses graphite with a total surface area of 17,820mm². The combination of these technologies helps maintain more stable performance during gaming and extended demanding tasks.

2.1-channel sound with Sound by Bose

The POCO F9 Ultra features an advanced 2.1-channel audio system, with two symmetrical stereo speakers and an independent subwoofer. The two master-grade 1115D speakers work together with a large 1620 independent subwoofer, creating deeper bass, clearer high frequencies, and a wider soundstage. The experience has been tuned in collaboration with Bose, with two different sound profiles, Dynamic and Balanced. Dynamic emphasizes stronger bass and a more energetic performance, while Balanced aims for a more natural and well-balanced result. Hi-Res Audio, Hi-Res Audio Wireless, and Dolby Atmos are also supported, creating a highly complete multimedia package.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

At the heart of the POCO F9 Ultra is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform, built using TSMC's advanced 3nm N3P process. The new Qualcomm Oryon architecture uses a 2 Prime + 6 Performance cores design, with the maximum frequency reaching up to 4.6GHz. Combined with the Adreno GPU and the Qualcomm AI Engine, it delivers exceptionally high computing power for demanding applications, multitasking, and gaming. POCO reports an internal score of 4,165,108 points on AnTuTu V11, while the platform is designed to combine high performance with more efficient power management. The F9 Ultra is therefore aimed at users who want truly flagship-level performance.

VisionBoost D8 and gaming

For gaming, the POCO F9 Ultra features the dedicated VisionBoost D8 chipset, which works in conjunction with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The chipset leverages AI models and technologies such as Super Resolution, Smart Frame Rate, and Game HDR, aiming for sharper graphics and smoother motion. Motion interpolation technology can deliver up to 185FPS in supported games, while the WildBoost Engine dynamically adjusts performance, temperature, and power consumption depending on the game. POCO reports an 185FPS ecosystem with more than 20 games, while actual performance depends on the title and settings.

AMOLED 6.9" at 185Hz

The display of the POCO F9 Ultra is 6.9" AMOLED with a resolution of 2608 × 1200 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 185Hz. The POCO HyperRGB technology uses a full RGB subpixel structure, offering high clarity while also reducing power consumption compared to conventional OLED implementations. The display supports 12-bit color and up to 68 billion shades, DCI-P3, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. Brightness reaches up to 4,500 nits under specific conditions and up to 10,000 nits peak brightness in a small area of the screen. With 480Hz touch sampling and up to 4,800Hz instant touch sampling in Game Turbo, it offers exceptionally immediate response.

200MP Camera System

The camera system of the POCO F9 Ultra features a 200MP main camera with a large f/1.68 aperture and OIS optical stabilization. The sensor uses 16-in-1 Super Pixel technology and a 6P lens, allowing it to collect more data for clearer and more detailed shots. The 200MP mode can take advantage of the sensor’s full resolution, offering greater flexibility for cropping and image editing. The system also supports features such as Portrait, Pro, HDR, Panorama, Long Exposure, and Motion Capture. For video, the main camera can record up to 8K at 30fps, while 4K at 60fps is also supported.

50MP Periscope Telephoto with 5x zoom

One of the most important features of the F9 Ultra is the 50MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS and an equivalent focal length of 120mm, meaning approximately 5x optical zoom. The f/3.0 aperture and optical stabilization help keep shots sharp when photographing distant subjects or using higher magnification. The camera supports 5x, 10x lossless zoom and AI Ultra Zoom up to higher magnifications, while it can also be used for Telemacro from a distance of about 30cm. Thus, the F9 Ultra is not limited to the main camera but offers truly greater photographic versatility for portraits, landscapes, distant subjects, and close-up shots.

50MP Ultra-Wide and 32MP Selfie

The camera system is completed by a 50MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.4 aperture and an equivalent focal length of 17mm. The wide field of view is ideal for landscapes, architecture, group photos, and generally scenes where you want to fit more elements into the frame. On the front side there is a 32MP camera, designed for detailed selfies and group photos. It supports Portrait, HDR, and Smart Aperture for group selfies, while it can record video up to 4K at 30fps. Thus, the F9 Ultra offers a complete system of three different focal approaches on the rear and a high-resolution camera on the front.

8,050mAh battery and 100W charging

The POCO F9 Ultra features the largest battery in the history of the F series, with a capacity of 8,050mAh. POCO states that it can deliver up to two days of use in a specific laboratory scenario, while the new high energy density battery is designed for long-term durability. The wired 100W HyperCharge can, according to POCO's internal tests, charge the battery from 1% to 100% in about 50 minutes under the specified conditions. At the same time, 50W Wireless HyperCharge is supported, providing up to 50% charge in about 37 minutes with a compatible charger. There is also reverse charging of up to 27W wired and 22.5W wireless.

Advanced cooling for stable performance

To maintain high performance even under demanding conditions, the POCO F9 Ultra uses POCO 3D IceLoop cooling system. The system features an extra-large LHP surface area of 6,300mm², while its design separates the vapor and liquid flow so that heat is efficiently removed from the chipset. The special 3D structure above the SoC can, according to POCO's internal measurements, reduce its temperature by up to 3°C. At the same time, the smartphone uses graphite with a total surface area of 17,820mm². The combination of these technologies helps maintain more stable performance during gaming and extended demanding tasks.

2.1-channel sound with Sound by Bose

The POCO F9 Ultra features an advanced 2.1-channel audio system, with two symmetrical stereo speakers and an independent subwoofer. The two master-grade 1115D speakers work together with a large 1620 independent subwoofer, creating deeper bass, clearer high frequencies, and a wider soundstage. The experience has been tuned in collaboration with Bose, with two different sound profiles, Dynamic and Balanced. Dynamic emphasizes stronger bass and a more energetic performance, while Balanced aims for a more natural and well-balanced result. Hi-Res Audio, Hi-Res Audio Wireless, and Dolby Atmos are also supported, creating a highly complete multimedia package.
