The Fardriver ND72450 sine-wave controller is designed for electric scooters and motorcycles and supports BLDCM or PMSM hub or mid-drive motors. FOC-180° operation and the space-vector modulation control algorithm reduce torque fluctuations, noise and vibration, while helping to reduce the controller’s temperature rise. The flux-weakening function increases the speed range.

Parameters are programmed via Bluetooth using the FARDRIVER app on an iPhone or Android phone, and the connection also enables monitoring of motor performance data. The controller includes an alert buzzer, a diagnostic LED and peripheral interfaces for reverse, cruise control, anti-theft protection and an electronic brake.
