The Stanley 2-15-599 PVC saw has a 0.85 mm thick Swedish steel blade with 11 teeth per inch. The teeth are ground on three sides for a sharp edge along the entire blade and induction-hardened to stay sharp twice as long.
The two-material handle is screwed in place and ultrasonically welded, and allows cutting at 45° and 90°. The blade cuts on both the push and pull strokes, increasing cutting efficiency by 30%. It is suitable for finishing wood and wood-based materials, such as skirting boards, plywood, melamine and PVC.
