The Dahua ARD2231-W2(868)-B motion sensor combines passive infrared detection (PIR) and microwave detection (MW) for indoor and outdoor use. Its dual technology helps reduce false alarms, while PIR detection covers up to 12 m at a 90° angle. PET immunity allows pets weighing up to 18 kg and measuring less than 50 cm in height.

The sensor uses 24 GHz microwave detection based on the Doppler effect and offers 3 PIR and MW sensitivity settings. It includes bidirectional temperature compensation and two-way communication, anti-interference protection with frequency hopping and AES-128 encryption, a test mode, a low-battery warning, LED indicators, and an ON/OFF button. It features tamper protection and supports software updates via the cloud.
