The projection technology is the way the projector's lamp light is converted into an image to be projected through the lens onto a surface. This one is LCD technology and its lamp is LED type, which has a longer lifespan but lower brightness than regular lamps, with good color performance.
This technology is named after the initials of the words Liquid Crystal Display. The image is created by a liquid crystal panel that produces combinations of the three primary RGB colors: red, green, blue. This results in very good color performance, even in black.
Brightness is a very important feature that is taken into account, in combination with the projection distance and the maximum diagonal you want to achieve, for the selection of a projector. This one has a brightness of 160 Lumens which indicates how much light the projector can deliver on a specific surface size. The general rule suggests that "brighter" projectors are preferred in rooms with plenty of light or several light sources, while "darker" ones are preferred in dark rooms.
It is equipped with Wi-Fi, so you can connect wirelessly to your local network and watch a program online or download software updates. You can watch a video from your mobile or the movie you saved on your laptop with your friends, using the Miracast/Screen Mirroring function. This function allows you to wirelessly "mirror" your mobile or laptop screen to a larger screen.
