The COM-BTX DAP Bluetooth receiver is a high-quality wireless receiver that can be connected directly to an XLR input, turning an active speaker into a Bluetooth speaker. Thanks to the modern BT 5.0 standard, it is compatible with many current mobile devices and laptops and offers an excellent operating range of over 40 meters (130 feet) (line of sight).
With support for aptX, AAC, and SBC codecs, the receiver is capable of delivering a high level of audio quality. It provides a mono audio signal via an XLR male connector, and also features a stereo output via a 3.5 mm TRS jack.
When two COM-BTX receivers are used, this mono output is configured to transmit the left or right audio signal (instead of a combined mono signal from both channels). This is particularly useful when two (active) speakers are set up as a stereo pair.
The unit has a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery and can operate without an external power source for at least 8 hours at medium signal level. Powering/charging can be done with a standard 5 V USB charger via the micro-USB port. A USB A to micro-USB charging cable is included (5 V power supply not included).
