The OptiMate 4 Quad Program (Gold Series) is the world’s most advanced powersport battery charger. It is specially designed for the high-tech batteries found in modern Adventure, Touring, Cruiser, and Sport motorcycles (ideal for BMW and Triumph), as well as ATV, Side-by-Side, and Jet-Ski.

The 4 Charging Programs (Quad Program)

The built-in microprocessor allows you to choose between 4 specialized programs:

Program 1 (Lead - Direct): For classic lead-acid, AGM, or GEL batteries with direct connection to the terminals.

Program 2 (Lead - BMW CAN-bus): For lead-acid/AGM batteries with direct connection to the factory 12V (DIN) socket of BMW motorcycles.

Program 3 (Lithium - Direct): For modern Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries with direct connection to the terminals.

Program 4 (Lithium - BMW CAN-bus): For BMW motorcycles with a Lithium battery (e.g. R1300GS), with charging via CAN-bus.

Main Features & Technologies

CAN-bus / Triumph Live Socket Compatibility: Automatically bypasses the electronic “lock” of BMW motorcycles when the ignition is switched off, keeping the DIN socket open for charging. It is also fully compatible with the live 12V socket of Triumph motorcycles.

Advanced Recovery from 0.5V: The automatic 9-stage program can detect and rescue completely “dead” lead-acid batteries (smart desulfation) and lithium batteries, starting charging from an extremely low voltage (0.5 Volt).

BMS Wake-Up (BMS Reset): In Lithium programs, the charger sends a special pulse signal to “unlock” the battery’s internal protection system (BMS) if it has shut down due to complete discharge.

Smart Health Test: Performs an automatic diagnostic check before and after charging, assessing whether the battery can hold its charge and informing you accurately via LED indicators.

Safe 24/7 Maintenance: Designed for permanent connection with no supervision during winter storage. Provides 100% protection against overcharging, short circuit, and sparks, and is completely safe for the vehicle’s electronics.
