Magnesium Active filters increase the magnesium concentration in the water while reducing chlorine, heavy metals, certain pesticides, and herbicides that may be present in tap water. This makes tap water healthier to drink.

The Laica Bi-Flux Magnesium Active replacement cartridge is made in Italy.

Why filter water?

Although tap water is potable, it may contain unwanted substances such as impurities and chlorine, which affect the smell, taste, and appearance of the water. The Laica filter pitcher removes these impurities and significantly improves water quality for cold and hot preparations, cooking, and protects household appliances from impurities (e.g. coffee machines).

How is the water filtered?

• Pre-filtration – removes large impurity particles;
• Ion exchange resins – eliminate unwanted substances such as heavy metals (zinc, iron, mercury, copper, lead);

The Laica Bi-Flux filter guarantees effective bacteriostatic protection thanks to silver. Any silver release complies with the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO) and meets the parameters of European Directive 98/83/EC.

The Bi-Flux system is safe and complies with all applicable legal regulations. Bi-Flux cartridges do not release ammonia, diphenyl, epichlorohydrin, polyvinyl chloride, or acrylamide into the water.
