The body is made of solid mahogany with a carved maple cap and flame maple veneer. The glued-in mahogany neck features an ergonomic Wide Fat profile, paired with a rosewood fingerboard with a 10-inch radius, 22 frets, and Brushstroke Birds inlays. The electronics include a pair of TCI "S" humbuckers with two independent mini-toggle coil-split switches, which deliver clear single-coil tones without loss of volume. The hardware is completed by a PRS Stoptail fixed bridge with integrated brass inserts and vintage-style tuners.

Mahogany Body Construction & Carved Maple Top

The instrument’s body combines a solid mahogany base (Mahogany) with a maple top (Maple Cap) and a flame maple veneer (Flame Maple Veneer). Mahogany provides a dense acoustic weight, extended sustain, and a balanced response in the low-mid frequencies, while the maple top contributes clarity and dynamic attack to the notes. The Shallow Violin Carve offers ergonomic positioning for the right hand and comfort while playing. The glossy exterior finish in Slate Blue highlights the wood’s natural grain while protecting the surface from environmental changes and mechanical wear.

Wide Fat Neck & Rosewood Fingerboard

The neck is made of solid mahogany and joins the body with a glued Set-Neck joint, ensuring direct transfer of acoustic vibrations. It features a Wide Fat profile, providing natural palm support and comfortable pressure distribution when playing chords and bends. The rosewood (Rosewood) fingerboard has a 10" (254 mm) radius and PRS’s distinctive intermediate 25" (635 mm) scale length, balancing string tension. It features 22 Medium Jumbo frets with distinctive Brushstroke Birds inlays, while the 42.8 mm-wide nut, made from a synthetic alloy containing brass filings, ensures smooth string movement.

TCI “S” Electronics, Mini Toggles & Brass-Insert Bridge

The electrical circuit incorporates two PRS TCI “S” (Tuned Capacitance and Inductance) pickups, tuned for a wide frequency response and clear articulation. Two independent Mini-Toggle switches allow one coil in each humbucker to be isolated, converting them into pure single-coils with no loss of volume (true single-coil mode). Controls include a 3-way toggle switch, Master Volume, and Master Tone knobs. The hardware includes a fixed PRS Stoptail bridge with Brass Inserts at the string contact points, maximizing natural sustain in combination with the Vintage-Style tuners.
