Fisetin is a natural phytosterol (7,3′,4′-flavon-3-ol) that belongs to the group of flavonoid polyphenols. In nature, it acts as a yellow/ochre pigment and is found in small amounts in fruits and vegetables such as strawberries, apples, persimmons, onions, and cucumbers.
