Part A analyzes basic topics, such as the Schools of Criminology, the comparative criminological method, the individual subjects of Criminology (criminal / crime), and the theories on the causation of crime.

Part B presents more specific topics, namely violent crimes (individual cases, domestic violence, sports violence, sexual violence, gang violence), economic crime, organized crime, and the globalization of crime.

The aim of the book is to present the essence of the field of Criminology and it is addressed to students of Law and Police Schools as well as to those who wish to delve into the essence and significance of this science on a diachronic and cross-regional level.
