Insulation / Waterproofing Materials

The packing is made of braided E-type glass yarn. Thanks to the use of a suitable braid and texture, a durable packing is produced with a significant amount of air trapped between the fibers. This effect results in excellent thermal insulation.

Application: Designed for sealing chambers, dryers, and chimneys at high temperatures. The high chemical resistance of the glass fibers allows this packing to be used in chemical equipment and in exhaust systems for hot exhaust gases and gases after reaction.

• Maximum continuous operating temperature: 500 °C
• Weight per meter: approximately 0.28 kg

This packing is resistant to most aggressive chemical agents except fluorine, strong alkaline agents, and phosphoric and sulfuric acids.
