The foundation of every successful marine aquarium is properly adjusted, natural water parameters. Incorrect water composition is the most common cause of various problems in the aquarium, such as algae growth or coral death. At the same time, accurately measuring water parameters is a serious challenge.
The precise ATI laboratory analyses offer the advantage that the basic water parameters (e.g. calcium, magnesium, salinity, etc.) can be determined with much greater accuracy and reliability than is possible with commercial drop tests. In addition, a comprehensive picture is provided of many other important elements that can only be detected through professional laboratory analysis.
To this end, the ATI laboratory uses a large number of highly specialized analytical instruments, such as ICP-OES, ICP-MS, ion chromatographs, and titrators. Depending on the element, the most suitable measurement method is applied.
