    I bought them with the intention of using their AI capabilities too. After setting them up initially, the glasses informed me that the AI features are not available in our country.....????? They also don’t support Greek for the AI features.....?????
    Before I started crying over the money I’d spent, I decided to look into it (how was I supposed to know beforehand? I couldn’t believe it). After doing some research, my device is an iPhone, but fortunately I also have an Android phone (development mode). I found a guide online for enabling all the features regardless of region by installing NordVPN and FakeGPS, creating new Google and Meta accounts, changing the development mode settings, and setting the location to New York (about 1.5 hours, with quite a bit of experience in tinkering). I’ve since uninstalled the apps I mentioned and disabled development mode, but despite that, META AI still works normally. I hope it doesn’t get disabled by some update.
    Now, the positives: The glasses are a nice trend, comfortable, relatively lightweight, and from a well-known brand, with a battery that lasts satisfactorily (twice as long as Gen 1) and charges quickly in the case. Good video and photo recording. The AI wakes up by saying “Hey Meta,” as usual. There’s also Live AI, which describes what’s around you and lets you ask whatever you want. I haven’t tried the live translation feature.
    Negatives: The bummer of having features restricted depending on your region. I don’t know if it’ll stay enabled forever. Come on, you rotten META, just enable AI in Greece, even if it’s only in English. Without the AI features, they’re just glasses that take videos and photos, and that’s it. They need to stay connected to your phone via Bluetooth for everything.
    I got them with clear lenses for the reason I mentioned above, so don’t ask me whether the lenses are dark enough, etc. They’re Ray-Bans, so they should be good.
    Three stars is generous until META AI is enabled in Greece and Greek-language support is added.
    Also, after trying Meta AI and Gemini AI with the glasses (Gemini doesn’t use the cameras on the glasses), I have to say that Gemini AI is a considerably more advanced system than Meta.
