The Cisco NIM-4BRI-NT/TE is a 4-port BRI Network Interface Module (NIM) designed for Cisco 4000 Series Integrated Services Routers (ISR). It provides four ISDN BRI ports for voice connectivity (voice-focused module), supports Online Insertion and Removal (OIR), and includes onboard DSP resources for TDM voice functions, so an additional PVDM is generally not required for these voice capabilities.
