Description

The espresso pot from the company Alessi, can make up to cups of coffee. It is a much more economical solution for making coffee compared to an espresso machine, and to operate it, you simply need to place it on a stove burner. The coffee-making process is very simple: Fill the bottom part (water container) with water, without exceeding the height of the safety valve. Then, add ground coffee to the conical filter, without pressing it, remove any residue from the rim, and place it on top of the water container. Finally, screw the top part of the coffee maker onto the water container and place it on the stove burner. Once the water boils, the extraction will start, offering you hot and fresh coffee.

Its operation is based on steam pressure, like an espresso machine, although the pot produces much less pressure (usually 2 to 3 bar). The coffee you will use should be slightly coarser ground compared to the grind for espresso machines, in order to extract properly. It has a heat-resistant handle, allowing you to easily and safely serve the coffee in your cup.
An important advantage is that it takes up minimal space in your kitchen, and it can be easily transported everywhere thanks to its small size.

It is advisable to clean it after each use, using water and soap, to prevent coffee residues. Additionally, it would be useful to periodically descale it, as like any metallic appliance that comes into contact with water, it tends to accumulate salts.
It is made of aluminum, which, in addition to being a material that meets hygiene requirements, also makes it easy to clean.
