CYNKAL acrylic primer-paint 0.7L Chocolate
CYNKAL is an acrylic primer-paint designed for painting surfaces made of steel, galvanized steel, cast iron and light metals (such as aluminum, copper, brass). CYNKAL is based on acrylic copolymer modified with adhesion promoters, offering high paint adhesion to all types of substrates.
CYNKAL contains next-generation corrosion inhibitors that chemically bind corrosion products, ensuring excellent anti-corrosion properties. It includes small amounts of alcohols and their derivatives to facilitate paint penetration into corrosion products. CYNKAL bonds physically and chemically with rust and metals.
CYNKAL is highly resistant to low temperatures, corrosion and UV radiation. It preserves color durability and does not contain chromium or lead compounds. It is easy to apply.
Purpose:
CYNKAL is intended for painting clean (e.g. after sandblasting) or partially cleaned elements affected by corrosion, made of steel, cast iron, galvanized steel and light metals (aluminum, copper, brass, etc.). After drying and bonding to the substrate, the first coat serves as an excellent base for subsequent coats of CYNKAL or other solvent-based and chemically curing paints and fillers.
Applying 2-4 coats of CYNKAL provides corrosion protection and an aesthetic surface. Like other acrylic-bonded paints, CYNKAL can also be used on wood, concrete, cement boards and other porous substrates.
CYNKAL is used primarily as a primer-paint but can also serve as an anti-corrosion primer under other paints or as a paint for renovation of existing coatings. For medium-term protection, a minimum dry film thickness of 150 microns is required. For long-term protection, the coating thickness should be increased.
CYNKAL is often used where, for technical or economic reasons, substrate preparation by sandblasting is not feasible, or when partially well-adhered corrosion products and old coatings remain after mechanical surface treatment.
CYNKAL offers measurable economic benefits by significantly reducing the costs of surface preparation before painting.
Like most paints, CYNKAL is resistant to temperatures up to 200°C; however, discoloration of the coating may occur. The addition of reactive cross-linking resins increases coating hardness and prevents streaking at temperatures of 130-140°C.
