Since vertical blinds are ideal for high applications, correct measurement is crucial. When the window has a recess:

  • Measure the width inside the recess and subtract 0.5-1cm from each side.
  • Measure the height inside the recess and usually subtract 2-3cm from the bottom side so that the blinds do not touch.

For a simple window:

  • Add 5-10cm to the width for adequate overlap.
  • Add 5-10cm to the height for the supports.
  • Add 5-10cm at the bottom, provided there is no obstruction.

For balcony doors, add 10-15cm for the supports and subtract 2-3cm from the bottom.

In the direction of the blinds, they gather on the side of the window handle and the control is placed on the same side.
