Vertical Blinds - Vertical Shades
A characteristic of vertical blinds is that they are ideal for applications with great height.
How We Measure:
- When the window has a recess, we measure the entire width inside the recess and subtract a small gap of 0.5-1cm from each side, or more if necessary (e.g., cable hole).
- We measure the entire height inside the recess and subtract 2-3cm from the bottom, so the blinds don’t touch the floor.
These are the final dimensions needed to manufacture the vertical blinds.
For a Simple Window:
- For the width of the window, we add 5-10cm on each side to provide adequate coverage.
- For the height of the window, we add 5-10cm at the top for the blind supports.
- At the bottom of the window, we add 5-10cm, taking into account obstacles such as radiators.
The same applies for balcony doors as for simple windows, adding 10-15cm at the top for the supports and subtracting 2-3cm from the bottom.
Direction of Blinds:
- The blinds gather on the opposite side from the window handle.
- The control mechanism is placed on the same side.
