Vertical Blinds - Vertical Shades
A characteristic of vertical blinds is that they are ideal for applications with great height. Measuring is done as follows:
- When the window has a recess, measure the full width inside the recess and subtract a small gap from each side of 0.5-1cm, or more if necessary (e.g., hole for cables).
- Measure the full height inside the recess and subtract from the bottom side (usually 2-3cm) so that the blinds or the chain connecting them do not touch.
These are the final dimensions needed for the manufacture of vertical blinds. For a simple window:
- Add 5-10cm on each side to the window width for sufficient overlap.
- Add 5-10cm to the top of the window height for the brackets.
- Add 5-10cm to the bottom of the window, taking obstacles into account (e.g., radiator).
The same applies to balcony doors as for a simple window, with the only difference being that from the total height, 2-3cm is subtracted from the bottom so that the blinds do not touch the floor.
Blind Direction
- The blinds gather on the side of the window handle.
- The control is also placed on the same side.
