Vertical blinds - vertical shades are ideal for applications with large heights. The basic measurement guidelines are:

  • In the case of recessed windows, measure the full width inside the recess and subtract 0.5-1 cm from each side.
  • For the height, measure the height inside the recess and subtract 2-3 cm from the bottom so that the blinds do not touch the floor.

For a simple window:

  • Add 5-10 cm to the width for sufficient overlap.
  • Add 5-10 cm to the top to install the blinds' brackets.
  • At the bottom, add 5-10 cm, considering any obstacles.

For balcony doors, add 10-15 cm at the top and subtract 2-3 cm from the bottom.

Regarding the direction of the blinds, they gather on the side of the window handle, where the control is also placed.
