Vertical Blinds - Vertical Shades
A characteristic of vertical blinds is that they are ideal for applications with great height.
How We Measure:
- When the window has a recess:
- We measure the entire width inside the recess and subtract a small gap from each side of 0.5-1cm, or more if necessary (e.g. hole for cables).
- We measure the entire height inside the recess and subtract from the bottom side (usually this ranges from 2-3cm) so that the blinds do not touch the bottom.
- For a Simple Window:
- For the width of the window, we add 5-10cm on each side for sufficient overlap.
- For the height of the window, we add 5-10cm at the top for the blind supports. Attention: Make sure that at the desired height, there are no embedded cables.
- At the bottom of the window, we usually add 5-10cm. If there is an obstacle (e.g. radiator), it must be taken into account.
Direction of Blinds:
- The blinds gather on the opposite side where the window handle is located.
- The control is placed on the same side.
