Vertical Blinds - Vertical Shades
How We Measure
- When the window has a recess, we measure the entire width inside the recess and subtract a small gap from each side of 0.5-1cm, or more if necessary (e.g., cable holes).
- We measure the entire height inside the recess and subtract 2-3cm from the bottom to prevent the blinds or the chain that connects them from touching.
For a simple window:
- For the width of the window, we add 5-10cm on each side to ensure sufficient overlap.
- For the height of the window, we add 5-10cm at the top to allow for mounting the blinds' supports.
- We add 5-10cm to the bottom of the window.
- If you have an inward opening window, allow for additional width on that side.
For balcony doors, the same rules as for a simple window apply, with one difference: we subtract 2-3cm from the bottom to prevent the blinds from touching the floor.
Direction of Blinds
- The blinds gather on the opposite side where the window handle is located.
- We place the control on the same side.
