CYNKAL acrylic primer varnish 2.5L Chocolate
CYNKAL is an acrylic primer varnish designed for painting surfaces made of steel, galvanized iron, cast iron, and light metals (such as aluminum, copper, brass). It is an acrylic copolymer modified with adhesion promoters, providing high adhesion to all types of substrates.
CYNKAL contains next-generation corrosion inhibitors that chemically bind with corrosion products, offering excellent anti-corrosion properties. It also contains small amounts of alcohols and their derivatives, facilitating the penetration of the paint into corrosion products. CYNKAL bonds both physically and chemically to rust and the metal substrate.
CYNKAL is highly resistant to low temperatures, corrosion, and UV radiation. It retains its color stability and does not contain chromium or lead compounds. It is easy to apply.
Purpose:
CYNKAL is intended for painting clean (e.g., after sandblasting) or partially cleaned corrosion-affected elements made of steel, cast iron, galvanized steel, and light metals (aluminum, copper, brass, etc.). After drying and adhesion to the substrate, the first coat acts as an excellent primer for subsequent coats of CYNKAL or other solvent-based and chemically curing paints and fillers. Applying CYNKAL 2-4 times provides corrosion protection and an aesthetic finish.
Like other paints containing acrylic binders, CYNKAL can also be used for painting wood, concrete, fiber cement, and other porous substrates.
CYNKAL is used mainly as a primer varnish but can also function as an anti-corrosion primer under other paints or as a varnish for recoating existing coatings. For medium-term protection, a minimum dry film thickness of 150 microns is required. For long-term protection, the coating thickness should be increased.
CYNKAL is often used where, for technical or economic reasons, detailed surface preparation by sandblasting is not possible, or when partially well-adhered corrosion products and old coatings remain after mechanical surface treatment.
CYNKAL offers measurable economic benefits by significantly reducing the costs associated with mechanical or chemical surface preparation before painting.
Like most paints, CYNKAL withstands temperatures up to 200°C; however, discoloration of the coating may occur. The addition of reactive cross-linking resins increases the hardness of the coating and prevents running at temperatures of 130-140°C.
