The Zebra Z-Flex (MPN ZFLX-SCNR-E00, SKU 21196027, EAN 5715328087491) is a compact barcode scanner module intended for Zebra kiosk systems (especially the KC50 / KC5 series). It uses the Z-Flex connection (USB-C) to add barcode scanning capability to the device's accessory bay.
The module is based on the SC4720 scan engine and provides recommended scanning at a distance of approximately 8–20 cm (3–8 in) below the scan window. It is installed in the accessory bay with captive screws and an accessory cover.
As a USB scanner module, some features of built-in scanners are not supported (image capture, OCR, multi-barcode capture). The exact product dimensions and package contents have not been published by Zebra.
