Knauf Guardex is specially designed to provide high resistance to moisture and water, as well as fire-resistant performance with a non-combustibility rating of A1. It has low weight and is environmentally friendly.

Thanks to the composition of its core and the specially designed cellulose glass fiber mat, Knauf Guardex offers:

• High resistance to moisture and mold
• Minimal expansion and contraction with temperature changes

It can remain exposed for up to 12 months, depending on the sealing of the joints, in order to complete the interior works in the building, regardless of external conditions.

Knauf Guardex boards are installed on the exterior side in exterior wall systems or exterior cladding systems, which are covered with the Knauf Thermoprosopsis external thermal insulation system or clad with ventilated decorative facade systems.
