The AJA FiDO-T-12G-ST is a compact Mini-Converter/transmitter that converts one channel of 12G-SDI to ST single-mode optical fiber. It is available in independent formats from 270 Mbps to 12 Gbps and supports 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD-SDI and SMPTE 259/292/424/2081/2082 formats.

Key features:

  • Reclocked 12G-SDI BNC output with loop-through capability.
  • ST single-mode optical output capable of transmission up to 10 km on standard SMF.
  • Tx wavelength approximately ~1310 nm, optical power range -5 dBm to +2 dBm.
  • Extinction ratio ≥3.4 dB.
  • Automatic SDI data rate selection and support for HDR workflows when combined with compatible devices.
  • Locking ST barrel connector.
  • Compact metal housing for use in a rack, truck, or camera rig.
  • 5–20 VDC power capability (universal power supply provided in some retail listings).
