These are the measuring instructions for vertical blinds:

  • For recessed windows: Measure the width inside the recess and subtract 0.5-1 cm from each side. For the height, subtract 2-3 cm from the bottom.
  • For regular windows: Add 5-10 cm to the width for adequate overlap. Add 5-10 cm to the height for the brackets.
  • For balcony doors: Subtract 2-3 cm from the height so that the blinds do not touch the floor.
