Measurements for vertical blinds:

  • For recessed windows, measure the width and subtract 0.5-1cm from each side.
  • For the height, measure inside the recess and subtract 2-3cm from the bottom.

For regular windows:

  • Add 5-10cm to each side of the width for adequate overlap.
  • Add 5-10cm to the height for the brackets.

Slat Direction:

  • The slats gather on the side with the window handle.
  • The control mechanism is placed on the same side.
