CYNKAL acrylic primer-paint 0.3L White

CYNKAL is an acrylic primer-paint designed for painting surfaces made of steel, galvanized, cast iron, and light metals (such as aluminum, copper, brass). It is based on an acrylic copolymer modified with adhesion promoters, offering excellent adhesion to all types of substrates.

CYNKAL contains next-generation corrosion inhibitors that chemically bind with corrosion products, ensuring exceptional resistance against corrosion. It includes small amounts of alcohols and their derivatives, which facilitate the penetration of the paint into the corrosion products.

It is highly resistant to low temperatures, corrosion, and UV radiation, maintaining the durability of the paint. CYNKAL is free of chromium and lead compounds and is easy to apply.

Purpose:

CYNKAL is intended for painting clean (e.g., after sandblasting) or partially clean elements that have been corroded, made of steel, cast iron, galvanized steel, and light metals (aluminum, copper, brass, etc.). After drying and bonding with the substrate, the first coat forms an excellent base for subsequent layers of CYNKAL or other paints and chemically drying materials.

Application of 2-4 layers of CYNKAL provides corrosion protection and an aesthetic finish. Like most acrylic-based paints, CYNKAL can also be used on wood, concrete, cement fibers, and other porous substrates.

CYNKAL is mainly used as a primer-paint but can also serve as a corrosion primer under other paints or as a paint for recoating existing coatings. For moderate protection, a minimum dry film thickness of 150 microns is required, while for long-term protection, the coating thickness should be increased.

CYNKAL is often used where technical or economic reasons prevent complete surface preparation through sandblasting or when partially well-bonded corrosion products and old coatings remain after mechanical surface treatment.

CYNKAL offers measurable economic benefits by reducing the need for extensive mechanical or chemical surface preparation before painting. Like most paints, CYNKAL is resistant to temperatures up to 200°C, although discoloration of the coating may occur. The addition of reactive crosslinking resins increases the hardness of the coating and prevents streaking at 130-140°C temperatures.
