The King Dedede amiibo figure is a must-have addition for fans of the Kirby series. King Dedede, who calls himself the king, mainly spends his time eating, causing trouble, and leading his loyal Waddle Dees, wielding his giant hammer.

In Kirby Air Riders, King Dedede and other characters can move using machines such as the Tank Star, an air machine that performs Boost Dashes.

Boost Charges help him take turns with speed. The King Dedede amiibo can be placed on the Tank Star amiibo to create a Rider & Air Ride Machine combination.

Adding the amiibo allows him to be trained as an FP (Figure Player), earning FP levels and driving ability.

If there is another Air Ride Machine amiibo, King Dedede can be placed on that machine to create a new Rider & Air Ride Machine combination.

King Dedede retains his FP levels when placed on and touched by another machine. Simply touch the NFC contact point of the amiibo accessory to enjoy additional fun features in compatible Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 games.
