The Orico Ener-G EG5C rechargeable AA batteries are Li-ion batteries that maintain a steady voltage of 1.5 V throughout operation, supplying devices with consistent power until they are discharged. They charge via the built-in USB-C port, so no separate charger is required. The nine-layer protection system and dual pressure-relief valve help protect against overcharging, over-discharging, overvoltage, overcurrent, overheating, short circuits and electrolyte leakage.

Charging takes approximately 1.5 hours, and the batteries retain 85–90% of their capacity after one year of storage without use. The green LED indicator lights up while charging and turns off when charging is complete.
