Users rate the mount positively, mainly for its stability and solid build quality. They find it convenient to use and say it holds the phone securely. However, a magnetic plate needs to be attached to the phone, which may not be aesthetically pleasing, and one review mentions that the magnet is weak.
The magnet is not very strong on my particular product. I've seen the same product from others that works as intended.

I have it for a month so I can't speak about the lifespan. It is very convenient. The only negative thing is that you have to stick a black magnet (included in the package) to your phone so that it sticks to the device. If you have an open mobile, it is not aesthetically pleasing. My phone is black so in my case, it's not very noticeable.
