Blue cast iron Hikime teapot with stainless steel filter for two to three cups of tea. Wazuku teapots are made in Yamagata, Japan, by a company founded in 1604 and operated by the 15th generation of the same family.
The word Wazuku indicates the highest quality and purity level in steel. Wazuku teapots are 25% lighter than other cast iron teapots.
Usage and maintenance instructions:
- Carefully rinse the teapot with warm water and dry it immediately with a towel.
- Never place the teapot directly on the fire. The internal glazing may break. Heat the water in a separate vessel.
- To wash the teapot, never use detergent or abrasive sponge; only use plain warm water. Avoid contact with salt or oil.
