How is the water filtered?
Bi-Flux cartridges are the result of the most advanced technology developed by Laica. Bi-Flux cartridges filter water in 5 stages:
- Pre-filtration – removes large dirt particles;
- Ion exchange resins – remove unwanted substances such as heavy metals (zinc, iron, mercury, copper, lead);
- Active carbon filter – reduces chlorine and certain insecticides, improving the smell and taste of water;
- Ultrafine filter – a very fine mesh that retains even the smallest particles;
- Post-filtration.
Laica Bi-Flux filter cartridges are individually sterilized to maintain the highest standards of hygiene. The Laica jug and the Bi-Flux cartridge are made exclusively from certified non-toxic materials. The Laica Bi-Flux filter ensures effective bacteriostatic protection due to silver.
Bi-Flux cartridges do not release into the water: ammonia, diphenyl, epichlorohydrin, polyvinyl chloride or acrylamide.
