CYNKAL acrylic primer-varnish 0.3L aluminum
CYNKAL is an acrylic primer-varnish designed for painting steel, galvanized, cast iron, and light metal surfaces (such as aluminum, copper, bronze). It is based on an acrylic copolymer modified with adhesion promoters, offering excellent adhesion to all types of substrates.
It contains next-generation corrosion inhibitors that chemically bond with corrosion products, ensuring excellent resistance to corrosion. It also includes small amounts of alcohols and their derivatives to facilitate the penetration of paint into corrosion products.
CYNKAL bonds physically and chemically with oxide and metallic substrates. It is highly resistant to low temperatures, corrosion, and UV radiation, maintaining color stability. The product is free from chromium and lead compounds and is easy to apply.
Purpose:
- It is suitable for painting clean or partially clean corrosion-affected elements made of steel, cast iron, galvanized steel, and light metals.
- After drying and bonding with the substrate, the first coat provides an excellent base for subsequent coats of CYNKAL or other solvent-based paints.
- Applying 2-4 coats of CYNKAL provides corrosion protection and an aesthetic finish.
It can also be used on wood, concrete, fiber cement, and other porous substrates. It mainly serves as a primer-varnish, but can also function as an anti-corrosive primer under other paints or as a varnish for repainting existing coatings.
For medium-term protection, a minimum dry film thickness of 150 microns is required. For long-term protection, the coating thickness should be increased.
CYNKAL is often used where technical or economic reasons prevent complete surface preparation by sandblasting, or where partially well-adhered corrosion products and old coatings remain after mechanical surface treatment.
And like most paints, CYNKAL is resistant to temperatures up to 200°C, although discoloration of the coating may occur. The addition of reactive cross-linking resins increases the hardness of the coating and prevents streaks at temperatures of 130-140°C.
