MOD8 is a monophonic RF PAL modulator that operates across the entire frequency range of the VHF/UHF band. It accepts an analog CVBS signal as input as well as monophonic audio, which it modulates to the desired RF PAL frequency.

The selection of output channels is done using a display and buttons on the front panel of the device. The output frequency control is performed by a PLL controlled by a microcontroller for high accuracy and channel stability.
