Review this product
  • I’m still reading it, but it has captivated me; I’m relearning and understanding all those things that I once experienced through the Gestalt groups of Parvy Palmou, realizing the superiority of Gestalt and Focusing in the process of self-knowledge.
When I finish it, I’ll come back.... Congratulations on this wonderful endeavor.

  • An essential book by Parvi Palmu, a distinctive and important voice in the psychotherapeutic approach to gender and sexuality.

  • Dr. Parvis Palmos’s new book comes to fill a gap that, until today, had remained open in Greek scientific literature.

What makes the work particularly reliable and important is the depth of the clinical as well as lived experience behind it. The author, a Gestalt therapist and clinical psychologist, has years of involvement in LGBTQI+ affirmative psychotherapy, as well as clinical, educational, and lived experience through her contact with trans, non-binary, gender-diverse, and intersex people. In this way, she combines theory with clinical experience and a human perspective.

What impressed me most is how simply she manages to explain complex concepts—gender identity, gender diversity, Gestalt, Focusing, etc.—with a simplicity that presupposes a deep understanding of the subject.

It is addressed both to mental health professionals and to any reader who wants to understand these concepts more deeply.

The book is a particularly useful and educational read, as it clearly explains basic concepts and terminology related to the LGBTQ+ community, such as transgender identity, sexual orientation, and gender identity. Its content is well organized, understandable, and based on documented information, contributing to awareness and understanding of the issues it addresses. It is a book that promotes respect for diversity, breaks down stereotypes, and offers valuable knowledge to every reader who wishes to be responsibly informed about these issues.

I liked the immediacy of the experiential field
As well as the unique Truth of Gender, which concerns each person separately, which goes beyond the ordinary, but has the same human rights!
The war of our diversity concerns us all!

A substantial, thoughtful, and deeply humane book that was missing from Greek literature. It approaches gender diversity with scientific knowledge and sensitivity, while remaining accessible to any reader interested in understanding it.
